About
Daniel KATZ is an avocat à la Cour (attorney-at-law) registered with the Paris Bar.
• He began his legal career training at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and Skadden, Arps, Meagher & Flom, before joining Veil Armfelt Jourde La Garanderie in Paris, where he became partner.
• After over a decade of practicing law, Daniel shifted to entrepreneurship, launching his first startup in the digital content and Edtech sector. Following a successful exit, he joined Technicolor to spearhead new development initiatives within the IP & Licensing business unit.
• He then moved to the Safran group, where he served as Chief Data Officer, overseeing the company’s data analytics strategy. His journey into deep tech continued as he joined Space Cargo Unlimited, a European NewSpace startup, to lead the development of an industrial program aimed at designing, manufacturing, and operating a returning automated spacecraft.
• Alongside these roles, Daniel also launched two coworking cafés in Paris, one Earth Observation data analytics company and is also an advisor in the quantum computing sector.
• Now re-established as a lawyer, Daniel combines his legal background and strategic insight to support entrepreneurs / founders and CEOs in navigating high-stakes decisions and complex business environments.
• Daniel speaks French, English, German, Spanish, Hebrew, Italian and Chinese and can help navigate and execute transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
